Write your novel or your short story; comfortably on your iPad!
With Writing App it’s easy to create your own story directly on your iPad. Just tap on the + button in the start view to create a new story. Writing App has two templates for novels and short stories which give you appropriate functions and options so that you can fully concentrate on your work. And so you’ll also have your best ideas and greatest stories with you, no matter when and where you want to work on them.

Your place to write!
Writing App offers you the possibility to create as much characters, places, items and chapters as you want and as you need to tell us your story. Each element is listed in the contents area of the app and you can easily open it from there. You have always total control about all the information of your story and can access them whenever you need.

Making notes whenever you need them!
Notes are important for us writers. And so Writing App provides the possibility to add notes to every element you’ve created, no matter it’s a chapter you’re writing on, a character you’re thinking about or a place you’re creating; notes are supported everywhere in the app and you’re welcome to held down your thoughts. Writing App will store them for you as long as you need them.

As an unpublished author, this application allows me to write freely while still being organized and orderly and, as a person with over obsessive compulsive disorder, comes in handy

I find this writing app to be the easiest and less frustrating writing app. Out of all the writing apps I have I use this one the most. I really like the app. I gave it 4 stars for miner things. I wish it had a dark mode. I read that its for iPad use but I do use the app through iPhone. So maybe it my need some kinks to better it for iPhone use even though I only use from my phone. Overall a must have app and the easiest.

This is my favourite app to write on! Its so cool especially with the new update on October 3, 2014! This was worth the $3

Not only was the app worth paying, but its unique interface and look make it excellent to use. Sillmann answered my email personally and took my thoughts on the app into account. You dont see Angry Birds doing that! Just incredible!

Very easy to use, especially for on the fly writing ideas or mapping out the story beforehand. has nice export features but needs import feature as well. Or at least being able to would be nice.

This is a good app and I like it a lot. I like to write as a hobby, however, this app glitches and doesnt save my work. Sometimes I lose many paragraphs at a time. This has become common so I might switch to another app in the meantime. After all, it gets annoying to rewrite the same sentences over and over. Plus, after "perfecting" a sentence, its hard to remember everything from memory.

Some bad moments

Its a nice concept in theory. However, right now its not a practical writing app to use. It loses any and all progress. Also, having the option to use a dark screen would be nice. I am hopeful that any new updates will provide better stability. For right now I will not use this app as first choice for novel writing.

Its a good app need to change the way you type on the chapters part of it or keep it that way just make it come full screen and maybe add a creatures categories or what ever you want to call it but helps a lot when I use it with notability for the way you can write your story there and seems you may want to add a notes categories I found my self having more than 1 pile of notes that I use but I do love this app and hope for updates to see how much better it can get its one of the more usefull book writing apps I found and worth the money I would give 5 stars but the chapter part is what almost everyone will want fixed so if u dont mind a small place to write your books chapter I think you all should buy

What a great writing app! I am thrilled at how easy it is to organize and keep track of things, and I simply adore having everything here at my fingertips. No more searching computer files for a character outline! The only suggestions I have is that I would love to have a place to put in the history...or at least lengthy notes...on characters, items, etc. I would also love to be able to import Dropbox files into this app, so that I can work on all my stories here! Lastly, I would love to have a way to store old drafts of chapters...but thats really minor. Character notes is the most important. I love is app, and highly recommend it!

I started using this app right away to outline a novel. Before I knew it, because of the helpful layout of the Contents area, I had added characters and object, and my story grew from a vague plot bunny to a viable plot with people, settings, and props. It wont replace Pages for editing existing stories, but its a great way to start something new.

Great app. Worth every cent. It would be nice for more information on a book point of view though, such as how many pages you have written, not just words. Brilliant.

I purchased My Writing Desk originally and it just crashes on me, I was really upset. Until I found THIS app! I only just downloaded it, so Im not really sure about the negative things (if there are some) but so far its just fantastic. Its so much better than the other app and I am already loving it. It would be fantastic if they just kept adding things, too. I would love updated options for this as time goes on. Although Ive been sitting here trying to come up with some suggestions...and cant so far! I may update this later with other suggestions, but right now, Im loving this one!
